How to announce your engagement

If you recently got engaged it’s likely that you’re still feeling excited. Whether you were proposed to, or it was you who popped the question, this is such a special time for you both.

Now that you’ve had some time together to enjoy this big step in your relationship, it’s time to think about how you’ll tell family and friends. The best thing about this is, there are no rules. The way you announce your engagement is completely up to you.

A note before you do announce your engagement. Check that you’re not about to overshadow a loved one’s important event. Maybe plan around their special moment so that it doesn’t overlap.
